While serving no useful purpose, this humongous construction in downtown Beirut will certainly look impressive when it's finished. Considering the amount of money that probably went into building the thing, one would hope that the architect had the foresight to design the interior in a way in which one day it could be used as a hospital, or something more practical. Yeah, right.
